Start the New Year Off Right by Spreading Love! 

Each year Emmanuel folks come together to assemble Resource Bags for those in need. Gallon-sized zip bags are filled with things an unhoused or under-resourced person might need – socks, hats, gloves, toiletries, healthy snacks, a list of local resources, and a $10 gift card to Subway sandwich shops. Once complete, bags are available for parishioners to take and distribute as needed. They are great to keep in your car or backpack to share with those in need. Donating needed items. Visit Sign Up Genius to indicate what you’ll be contributing, make your purchases, and then be sure to drop your donations off at church no later than Sunday, January 5th. 

Helping assemble Resource Bags. Many hands make light work, and we’ll gather those hands in The Great Hall following the 10:30 AM service on Sunday, January 12, 2025. 

Sharing bags with those in need. Bags will be available at the conclusion of the packing on January 12th and at the back of the church on the following Sunday.
