Marking 150 years since the birth of Sergei Rachmaninoff — one of the greatest concert pianists, conductors, and composers of the 20th century — concert pianist Ching-Yi Lin performs some of the composer’s fiendishly virtuosic yet sublimely beautiful works for solo piano. Also featuring some of Rachmaninoff’s keyboard transcriptions of J.S. Bach’s instrumental music, you won’t want to miss this powerful — and powerhouse! — performance by one of the region’s rising young talents.
Ching-Yi Lin, piano
