Following the 10:30 service, the Emmanuel Book Club will meet in the Brent Room.

The group will discuss "The Violin Conspiracy '' by Brandon Slocumb. Coincidentally, this book is a choice of the Good Morning America Book Club. "The Violin Conspiracy '' is a fictional account of a rising Black classical musician, Ray McMillan, who is undeterred, by pressure and prejudice of the classical music world. A shocking theft of the Stradivarius violin he inherited by his great, great grandfather on the eve of the Tchaikovsky Competition sends him into a desperate quest to recover the violin, originally thought by his family to be worthless. McMillan must prove to the world that he is an amazing musician.
