Hailed by The New Yorker as "early-music stars," PARTHENIA is one of the world's preeminent viola da gamba ensembles. They are joined for this program by countertenor Daniel Moody, a rising star who recently made his debut with The Metropolitan Opera (and is a graduate of the Peabody Institute). The program features works of Parsons, Philips, Purcell, Gibbons, Monteverdi, and more. Don't miss this rare opportunity to hear Parthenia in Baltimore!
The 6:00 p.m. program is preceded by a complimentary reception, beginning at 5:30 p.m.
We suggest a donation of $10 per ticket for Tuesdays at Six concerts, but welcome a donation of any amount — smaller or greater — depending on one's ability to contribute. A ticket is required of all attendees, and may be obtained prior to the concert or at the door beginning 30 minutes prior to the performance.
