The Emmanuel Choir sings a traditional service of Choral Evensong, featuring William Walton’s monumental anthem The Twelve and works of Kenneth Leighton and Jonathan Dove.

Thomas Sheehan, organist of Washington National Cathedral, accompanies the choir during the 4:00 p.m. liturgy; the service is preceded at 3:30 p.m. by an organ recital featuring music of César Franck and Franz Liszt, performed by Director of Music Christian Lane.

Tickets are not required for liturgies at Emmanuel Church. All are welcome.
