We are so pleased to have Barbara Ann Robinson (Barbran) come to the Anti-Racism Project on Sunday, October 30 after the 10:30am service. Barbara overcame a very difficult childhood in the racially discriminative South to come to Baltimore as the first in her family to attend college. She worked her way up from her beginnings to hold significant positions in local and state government, to become a member of the MD House of Delegates (2003-2016) and the MD Senate (2016 to present). Since resigning her position as Deputy Administrator of the MD Circuit Court in 1985 she became a significant entrepreneur, founding the enterprise nationally and internationally known as STAR. She was honored at the White House by President Clinton, is a board member of 20 organizations, and was chair of the Legislative Black Caucus of Maryland.
